Marina is a writer, producer and event maker who is passionate about telling stories and creating shared experiences. She loves writing for and working with young audiences and has produced children’s theatre for the Adelaide Fringe Festival, City of Adelaide and City of Charles Sturt Council.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from Adelaide University, majoring in writing and media, a certificate in Media and Production Skills and studied Professional Writing at the Adelaide College of the Arts where she received an Arts Excellence Award upon graduation. Marina has also represented Adelaide University at international student theatre festivals and participated in community theatre productions including Junction Theatre’s Hello Down There at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
Marina is also a freelance writer and producer and has created short films and corporate videos, coordinated events and produced travel and lifestyle articles. She also writes film scripts, novels, speeches, web copy and short stories and has been published by HarperCollins with her short story appearing in their Stories from the Shed anthology. She currently works in marketing and communications.
